Sidebar #5 For Hazera

Hello Hazera! It is really good to hear from you and read about your comment. By doing just that you have earned a point for ELA! Good work. Anyway, I do have a question. Can you explain why that part of Stitches that mentioned was interesting for you? I need to know the reason. Lastly, can you write your explanation on the post box found in Chapter 2? In that way, we do not get lost of the parts we are discussing about.

Enjoy your summer too as I am and keep jotting on your New Moon reading log notebook!

Toodles!

My Questions Per Se on Chapter 16: Paris

So here's my biggest question: How is this chapter got this title when there isn't a single reference to this place? Can somebody please explain this to me?

The chapter was about Jacob taking Bella home that night from her adventurous -near- death - cliff- diving-experience. Right? All of a sudden, the conversation turned mushy again! Why? Can anyone help here? Then when Jacob was made to remember clearly how Bella sees him in her life, his wolf instinct kicked in! What was that? You tell me! Aren't you reading the book?

As he tried to get Bella away from the house, to protect her from the vampire lurking in her premises, Bella's attention was caught by something she never expected to see again. What did she see that made her almost stopped breathing and broke Jacob's heart all over again? Well....I am waiting.

So there you go folks... Credits are up for grabs!

Sidebar #4

Hey Regina, what happened to you? I thought you said you were going to check in every other day for your comments? I have not heard from you again....What's up?

I know I made a lot of calls last Sat. July 25th to follow up on our blog. There is a section called post your reply. This will let you leave a comment, a question or a reaction about your reading. Just leave your name so that I can keep a record of those gets credits.

Anyway, if this is not going to happen this summer, we will do it in September because it is largely our first marking period lesson, plus our main curriculum plus your independent reading. Your ELA Graduation Exit Project Requirment will be given to you on Sept. 15 for submission on May 2010. Just to let you know ahead of time.

Ashlie and Jamela, I have not heard the last from you two, right? And Shevonne, your aunt has already received your summer reading homework packet via e-mail. I am not excusing you from this activity.

Well my dears, am blogging Chapter 16 next.

To be continued....

My Question Per Se for Chapter 15: Pressure

Ok, this is the last time I would be logging for today. Look at the picture I borrowed from an online site. I only have one big task for the day worth as high as five (5) points towards your class standing grade for ELA.

In not less than two (2) paragraphs of not less than 10 sentences for each of the paragraph, retell the chapter related to the picture below.

Now, I am giving you another biggie for your advantage. Your retell must be accurate, clear and includes pertinent details from the chapter. OK?

My Questions Per Se on Chapter: 14 Family

Good afternoon my 801 invisible class! I have decided to change my thoughts from statements to questions this time. In this way, all of you have ample chances of getting credits for ELA this Fall Semester. I hope you're ready!

Bella and Jacob finally clarified some issues between them that stressed their relationship. Can anyone tell me what those issues are? When Jacob decided to bring Bella to the rest of the pack, he got into an altercation with one of the boys. Who was it and why was there a fight? Two of the pack members made bets. What were the bets about?

Can anyone give me at least 3 new things that Bella learned in this chapter?

Was it really necessary for our heroine,Bella, to get exposed to these mythical creatures roaming Forks? Why or why not?

Who was it that she met in the little wooden house? What happened to her face? In what way is she similar or dissimilar with Esme?

Points....points.....points.... you want this! On our post section, write the question you are providing answers to and if you are correct, you get double points towards your class standing grade!

First 10, first serve!

Later,
